Hard-Boiled Fiction

I'm a big fan of hard-boiled detective fiction,and crime,and mystery fiction,of all kinds.Writers like,Dashiell Hammett,Raymond Chandler,Mickey Spillane,and Ross MacDonald,are some of the greatest,of this,genre.Most of my favorites feature private detectives.Tough guy fiction! I have also written some stories,and even some,hard-boiled poems.Black Mask magazine,started it all,back in the,1920's! Carroll John Daly,wrote the first,hard-boiled private eye story!He's not very well known,today.But he was big,in the 20's!He wasn't the greatest writer,but i hope more people,read his work,in the years,to come!
